Lago Design Colombina by Monica Armani includes dining chairs, stools and an armchair with elliptical upholstered backs.
The curved upper outlines draw on Venetian masks, repeating an oval line around the seating. Dining and lounge forms offer different wood or metal supports, while the stool uses a lacquered-metal structure for placement at kitchen islands and peninsulas. Fabric and leather options vary by model, connecting the different seating heights through the same curved back shape.
Monica Armani is an architect and designer whose approach grew from work in her family's architecture practice. She develops objects and furnishings by balancing form, function, technology and detail. Her collaborations include LAGO's Venezia collection, which draws on the city's architecture and cultural history.
