Lago Design Alberoni by Monica Armani includes coffee and dining tables with cylindrical pedestal bases.
Vertical recesses intersect a horizontal cut around the support, giving it a repeated carved pattern beneath the tabletop. Coffee tables offer round glass, stoneware or natural-marble surfaces in several diameters. Dining versions extend the choice to round and shaped tops, with materials varying by model. The same recessed central support connects the lower occasional tables and larger dining forms.
Monica Armani is an architect and designer whose approach grew from work in her family's architecture practice. She develops objects and furnishings by balancing form, function, technology and detail. Her collaborations include LAGO's Venezia collection, which draws on the city's architecture and cultural history.
