Lago Design Steel by Daniele Lago includes single and larger beds carried by two central steel supports.
The freestanding structure needs no wall attachment, leaving the mattress perimeter open above the floor. Larger beds offer upholstered, wood and headboard-free versions, with selected shelves, bedside tables and lighting. Single beds use customizable headboard sizes and surfaces, repeating the same two-support arrangement in children's or teenagers' rooms.
Daniele Lago studied at the Scuola Italiana Design in Padua before joining the family furniture company in the early 2000s. His work connects product design with the development of the LAGO brand, considering the relationships between people, technology and the spaces they inhabit.

We show Lago by appointment at both showrooms — Royal Oak on Woodward and Troy at the Michigan Design Center. Call ahead and we'll have samples and finishes pulled and waiting.
