Heller Bellini brings together molded chairs, stools, tables and MB lounge seating.
The dining chairs and stools use reinforced plastic, while the MB armchair, sofa and low table use a self-cushioning polymer. Stacking capacities vary across the dining pieces, and the range includes furniture for indoor and outdoor use. Mario Bellini designed the individual Bellini and MB pieces; ArcoBellini and the stool carry a joint Mario and Claudio Bellini credit. Replacement chair feet are a separate accessory.
Mario Bellini graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1959. His career has included architecture, planning, interiors, furniture and industrial products. He worked as design director at La Rinascente before joining Olivetti in 1963, developing office machines in collaboration with engineers and model makers.
