Foscarini Tobia includes floor and wall lamps by Ferruccio Laviani shaped from slender bent metal tubes.
The floor version loops into a handle beneath an upward LED source, with touch control offering four brightness levels. Tobia Wall bends around its support and lights from both ends for upward and downward illumination. Concealed-power and plug-in wall versions adapt the tubular design to different electrical arrangements while retaining its continuous curved line.
Ferruccio Laviani trained in design and architecture in Milan. He develops products and visual identities for furniture and fashion companies, including retail spaces, events and exhibitions. His practice connects object design with the way a company's collections are presented in interiors and public settings.
