Foscarini Hoba includes table, pendant, wall and ceiling lights by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba with softly indented opaline-glass bodies.
An open-mold blowing process creates slight variations in the meteorite-inspired contours. Acid etching gives the white surface a diffusing finish. Several sizes adapt the irregular shape to standing, suspended or close-mounted positions, with light sources and controls chosen by version and selected pendants offered with integrated LEDs.
Ludovica and Roberto Palomba develop furniture and other design projects through observation of everyday behavior. Their joint practice connects practical functions with cultural references and research into changing ways of living. They have designed products for Vondom, Driade, Foscarini and Talenti.
