Foscarini Gem includes table, floor, wall, ceiling and pendant lights by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba.
Patterned molds give the hand-blown white glass diagonal and horizontal reliefs, creating texture across the satin surface. Full rounded shades appear on standing and suspended models, while the wall version uses a curved half shade. Supports and controls vary by position, with integrated LED or bulb options on the pendant and dimmers on table and floor versions.
Ludovica and Roberto Palomba develop furniture and other design projects through observation of everyday behavior. Their joint practice connects practical functions with cultural references and research into changing ways of living. They have designed products for Vondom, Driade, Foscarini and Talenti.
