Flos Spine includes Vincent Van Duysen’s outdoor LED spots and pole-mounted lights.
Absolute versions offer focused spot or medium beams, while Ultra designs add shielding snoots and a broader choice of distributions, including elliptical and wall-washing optics. Sizes, output and controls vary with the model. Fixing plates, ground rods, spikes or integrated pole supports define the installation, with the correct mounting components selected for each landscape-lighting position.
Vincent Van Duysen's lighting work for Flos considers how artificial light relates to architecture and domestic settings. His collaborations with the manufacturer include Infra-Structure and Casting. These projects range from architectural systems to outdoor lighting, exploring both technical illumination and the atmosphere created by light.
