Flos Oblique includes Vincent Van Duysen’s table and floor task lamps with compact heads and slender aluminum bodies.
Ultra-flat lenses send asymmetric LED beams across a desk or toward a reading area. Switching and dimming are built into the lamps, with controls located according to the format. Selected floor versions add USB-C charging, while the Qi table model includes wireless charging and a timer, keeping these extra functions specific to the chosen version.
Vincent Van Duysen's lighting work for Flos considers how artificial light relates to architecture and domestic settings. His collaborations with the manufacturer include Infra-Structure and Casting. These projects range from architectural systems to outdoor lighting, exploring both technical illumination and the atmosphere created by light.
