Cattelan Italia Bombè and Bombè X are swivel chairs with rounded upholstered seats that enclose the back and sides.
The original combines a steel frame with visible ash feet, while X places the seat above a four-spoke steel base. Fabric, leather or faux leather follows the curved seat and back with fixed covers. The different supports change the lower outline while both versions retain the rotating, bucket-shaped seating shell.
Paolo Cattelan joined the furniture company founded by his parents, Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan, and took its leadership in 2014. His product work includes the Smart design from 1998. His career connects furniture development with the growth of the family's manufacturing business.
