Dining chairs and bar stools.
Calligaris Skin includes one-piece polypropylene chairs and stools made with air-molding technology.
The process produces a lightweight structure for indoor and outdoor seating. Chairs stack up to six high and use replaceable feet. The raised stool is also stackable and adds a footrest within its molded base, with separate floor-contact feet that can be changed without replacing the main body. Both formats retain open spaces beneath the seat.
Archirivolto was founded by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci in Colle di Val d’Elsa in 1983. The practice began with architecture and interiors before developing an industrial design focus. Its work includes chairs, stools, sofas and office seating, with research into materials and manufacturing processes.
