Bonaldo Pivot by Marconato and Zappa includes dining tables with asymmetric wooden supports arranged around a central leg.
Solid ash or walnut legs with metal inserts carry round or barrel-shaped tops in several materials. Pivot ST uses a circular wood-veneer outer surface around a rotating ceramic or marble center. Three ST sizes preserve the turning insert, distinguishing that serving function from the fixed tops of the other dining versions.
Maurizio Marconato and Terry Zappa founded their architectural studio in Cantù in 1991 after graduating from the Politecnico di Milano. Their collaboration covers furniture for homes and offices, from concept development to production. The studio also works on graphics, photography and exhibition design to support its product projects.
