Bookcases and mirrors.
Bonaldo Blabla by Marconato and Zappa includes wall-mounted bookcases and mirrors with thin, offset metal shelves.
The bookcase uses a substantial walnut- or oak-veneer panel behind shelf lengths that interrupt its outline. The mirror adds reflective glass and a wood-veneer border to the same rounded shelf treatment. Individual panels can stand alone on the wall or combine into a larger arrangement of reflection, display space and accessible small-object storage.
Maurizio Marconato and Terry Zappa founded their architectural studio in Cantù in 1991 after graduating from the Politecnico di Milano. Their collaboration covers furniture for homes and offices, from concept development to production. The studio also works on graphics, photography and exhibition design to support its product projects.
