Arketipo Mayfair brings stitched upholstery to a sofa and the Mayfair Dream bed by Dainelli Studio.
The sofa has a moving backrest, while the bed uses a moving headrest and adds a lined storage compartment inside the headboard. Selected velvet or leather coverings follow the shaped upholstered surfaces. Cover construction differs between the pieces: the sofa’s seat cover is removable, but the bed has a fixed cover over its wooden structure and slatted base.
Leonardo and Marzia Dainelli founded Dainelli Studio in 2007, combining product design and interior design expertise. Based in Milan and Pisa, the practice develops furnishings and public and private interiors. Its projects connect attention to proportion and materials with knowledge of industrial manufacturing and craftsmanship.
