Sofas and beds.
Arketipo Milky Way includes a sofa and Milky Way Dream bed designed by Mauro Lipparini.
Rounded upholstered volumes and quilting connect the two pieces. The sofa combines full cushions with vertical stitching around its wooden structure and low metal feet. The bed expands the quilted surface into a broad headboard that can be centered or offset in 25 cm mounting increments, allowing symmetrical or asymmetrical bedroom arrangements.
Mauro Lipparini is an architect and designer who graduated in Florence in 1980. His practice, Studio Lipparini, works with clients across Europe and Asia. He remains the author of the studio's designs, developing furniture and other projects through close involvement with clients and the process of making.
