Console tables and sideboards.
Arketipo Glory comprises a sideboard and console by Manzoni & Tapinassi.
Both combine wood veneer, leather-covered storage fronts and slender metal supports. The sideboard places drawers beside a door section marked by vertical handles, providing separate compartments within its raised cabinet. The console uses an asymmetrical arrangement of open shelving and enclosed storage. Oak or sucupira veneer continues the same material palette across the two forms while their storage layouts serve different positions in a room.
Maurizio Manzoni and Roberto Tapinassi began collaborating in 2001. Their joint work combines architecture, industrial design and interior decoration with experience in visual communication, fashion and graphics. The partnership develops furniture and other projects around patterns of contemporary living and research into new design solutions.
