Ditre Italia Cali brings Dainelli Studio's rounded upholstered forms to a dining chair, lounge armchair and sofas.
Substantial covered legs become part of the outline beneath curved backs and seats. The dining chair uses molded foam around a steel frame, while the lounge seating uses reinforced wooden structures with foam and elastic webbing. Two- and three-seat sofas extend the same enclosing profile, with fabric or leather coverings following the body and legs.
Leonardo and Marzia Dainelli founded Dainelli Studio in 2007, combining product design and interior design expertise. Based in Milan and Pisa, the practice develops furnishings and public and private interiors. Its projects connect attention to proportion and materials with knowledge of industrial manufacturing and craftsmanship.
