Recliner without a motor: Re-Vive

Re-Vive is Natuzzi Italia's reclining armchair with no electric power. Its mechanism follows your posture as you shift, and a separate footrest tilts on its own. The chair turns a full 360 degrees on a swivel base, and the Club and Wing Back versions add a gentle rock. The King versions are 90 to 95 cm wide (35 to 37 in) and 111 to 115 cm high (44 to 45 in). Several add a sliding headrest.

Powered recliners

Other chairs recline at the touch of a button. Fiorita offers dual-motion electric adjustment from buttons between the seat and arms, on a base that swivels through 270 degrees. A Home function brings both movements back together. Ilia carries a rechargeable battery that powers the recline and the extending footrest. Genny reclines into a footrest on a round metal base. Several sofa families, such as Balance, Sophy and Volo, also offer armchairs to match.

Swivel or fixed

Baya, Couture, Madame and Seashell all swivel, and Seashell turns a full 360 degrees. Dodi, Dolly, Logos and Luna come in both fixed and swivel versions of the same chair. For a high back, look at Aftereight, Marlene, which reworks the wingback, or Clemmie, which comes with its own ottoman.

Cushions and care

Several chairs, such as Dolly and Logos, put a memory-foam layer in the seat, and many have internal wooden or metal frames. Many come in leather or fabric, and a few mix the two. Natuzzi Italia's care guide asks you to dust leather with a clean, dry, non-abrasive white cloth. Blot spills at once with absorbent cloth or paper, then use the Natuzzi cleaner. Do not dry leather in direct sun or with a hair dryer.
