Buying TV and media units from Italcasa Design.
How wide should a TV unit be for my screen?
At least as wide as the screen, and better a few inches wider on each side: a 65-inch television is about 57 inches wide, so a unit of 70 inches or more suits it. Sit the center of the screen at eye level from the sofa, about 42 inches from the floor. Widths are on each product page.
Do the units hide cables and equipment?
Yes. Most of the Lago, Cattelan Italia and Calligaris units have cable routes and ventilated compartments for a receiver or console, and wall systems run cables behind the panels. The product page lists what each unit includes.
How is a media unit delivered and installed?
White-glove, to all 48 contiguous states, assembled in the room. Wall-hung units are installed by our team in Metro Detroit and by our delivery partners elsewhere. Units are made to order and typically ship in 12–16 weeks.
