Outdoor sofas and outdoor lounge chairs.
Slide Design Rap includes an armchair, loveseat and fitted cushions by Karim Rashid.
Sweeping polyethylene backs curve around low seating surfaces, with different widths for individual and two-person arrangements. Standard and lacquered furniture versions stack and suit indoor or outdoor use, while illuminated configurations have their own wiring specifications. Separate cushions use rubber padding and removable waterproof acrylic covers, matched to the chair or sofa footprint.
Karim Rashid works across product design and interiors, including furniture, hotels, restaurants and public spaces. His training included industrial design studies in Italy. Alongside manufactured products, his practice extends into art, fashion and music, bringing these disciplines into a broad approach to everyday objects and environments.
