Slamp Mida brings together wall and ceiling lights by Adriano Rachele with gem-like technopolymer elements.
Opalflex, printed Lentiflex and cold-foil treatments create a mix of color and metallic reflections across the rounded forms. Larger ceiling or wall versions use E26 LED filament bulbs, while the compact wall light uses two E12 bulbs. Magnetic fittings release the handcrafted diffusers, giving access behind the layered surfaces inspired by cabochon jewelry.
Adriano Rachele studied industrial design and began his professional career in Slamp's research and development department. His lighting work explores folded materials and curved forms within serial production. His collections for the company include Veli, Clizia, Étoile and Hanami, combining material development with the shaping of light.
