Slamp Nuvem includes indoor and outdoor modular lighting systems by Miguel Arruda.
Hexagonal elements join into cloud-like surfaces that can stretch, curve and overlap within a composition. Indoor arrangements use suspended technopolymer modules with separately specified spotlights above or below them. Nuvem Outdoor uses polycarbonate modules and flexible silicone light units for wall or suspended layouts. Mounting kits, drivers and lighting components follow the individual system and installation.
Miguel Arruda is a Portuguese artist, sculptor, architect and designer. Alongside his practice, he began teaching in 1969 and led design courses at the University of Lisbon. His work has been presented in exhibitions and collections in Portugal and internationally.
