Dining chairs, bar stools and outdoor dining furniture.
Opinion Ciatti Mammamia includes chairs and stools built around Marcello Ziliani’s curved die-cast aluminum shell.
Four-leg, sled, fixed-height and adjustable pedestal bases bring the form to different seating positions. Selected versions add upholstery, armrests or outdoor suitability. Lapo Ciatti’s special editions introduce crystals, studs or faux fur to the original design. Stacking, swivel mechanisms and exterior use vary by version, keeping the decorative editions distinct from the standard seating options.
Marcello Ziliani graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1988, studying with Achille Castiglioni. His practice includes furniture, lighting, bathroom and office products. He also works on exhibition and theater design, graphics and art direction, connecting individual products with their presentation and setting.
See all their workLapo Ciatti studied industrial design at IED and Domus Academy in Milan before working in architecture and joining his family's business in 2006. He and Bruno Rainaldi established Opinion Ciatti in 2008. His projects connect furniture design with the company's development and its Tuscan background.
