Opinion Ciatti Nigelle pairs chairs and stools by Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman with lace-patterned steel seats.
Perforated surfaces let water drain, while powder-coated sled frames support indoor and outdoor use. Both formats stack up to ten high. The stools add elevated frames and footrests, and optional padded coverings or seat pads provide a different surface treatment. The repeated open pattern connects the two seating heights.
Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman formed INTERWARE in 2003. Their collaboration moves between fashion, furniture, interiors, lighting and other design disciplines. Projects connect trend research and product development with presentation, packaging and communication; the pair has also curated design exhibitions.
