Natuzzi Italia Posidonia by Elena Salmistraro includes trays, a rug and decorative cushions inspired by Apulia’s marine and architectural forms.
Three concentric metal trays can stack or serve separately. The rug has raised, hand-crocheted decoration in recycled PET yarn sewn onto a backing, for interiors or partially covered outdoor areas with storage when unused outdoors. Square and rectangular cushions bring the same flowing and geometric motifs to upholstered seating.
Elena Salmistraro is a product designer and artist based in Milan. She graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 2008 and established a studio with Angelo Stoli the following year. Her work combines art and design research with detailed explorations of objects, forms and visual expression.
