Natuzzi Italia Cava by Mauro Lipparini combines adjustable sectional seating with occasional tables.
Manual seating versions fold their backs between vertical and horizontal positions, while electric versions slide the back to change seat depth. Memory-foam layers cushion the seats above ash bases with metal details. Separate glass coffee tables have open compartments below their tops; smaller side tables pair glass with metal supports. Table modules and an ottoman extend the seating system.
Mauro Lipparini is an architect and designer who graduated in Florence in 1980. His practice, Studio Lipparini, works with clients across Europe and Asia. He remains the author of the studio's designs, developing furniture and other projects through close involvement with clients and the process of making.
