Natuzzi Italia Dove by Marcel Wanders includes a swivel armchair, chaise lounge and adjustable bar stools.
The chair and chaise shape structural polyurethane around metal frames to form wing-like upholstered bodies. The chair can have an accompanying ashwood tray. Stools translate the curved outline into steel pedestal forms with swivel movement and height adjustment, while the chaise extends the padded shell into a long lounge surface.
Marcel Wanders is a designer from Boxtel in the Netherlands. His Knotted Chair for Droog Design brought international attention to his work in 1996. He has collaborated with furniture manufacturers across Europe, developing objects that draw on historical references, cultural differences and decorative traditions.
