LaPalma Screen is Francesco Rota’s modular room-divider system with open tubular elements and fabric-covered sound-absorbing panels.
Magnetic connections join straight or curved sections into freestanding walls, corners and partially enclosed areas. Aluminum tubes can be coated, veneered or fabric wrapped, while steel frames support the different elements. Optional casters add mobility to suitable configurations, and the system can work with Plus seating to organize lounges, offices and shared interiors.
Francesco Rota is a Milan-based product and interior designer. He graduated from Art Center College of Design in Switzerland in 1994 and opened his studio in 1998. His work spans furniture, lighting and interior spaces. He became LaPalma's creative director in 2013.
