LaPalma Ryo includes compact seating aids by Enzo Berti with sculpted solid-ash seats.
Two pedestal versions adjust from 61 to 73 cm through a gas-spring control beneath the seat. One uses a convex rubber insert under the base to allow tilting, while the other has a fixed floor base. A wall-mounted version supports the same backless seat on a metal bracket, leaving the floor below open.
Enzo Berti trained at Venice's Academy of Fine Arts and studied industrial design at the city's university. He has worked in industrial design since the 1980s. His furniture collaborations include LaPalma, Magis, Lago and Gervasoni, alongside art direction and development work for other manufacturers.
