LaPalma Oort includes square, rectangular and lumbar cushions by Francesco Rota.
Polyester microfiber filling sits inside removable fabric covers, with different widths and heights for layering against sofas and armchairs. Indoor versions provide straightforward fabric-covered cushions, while the dedicated outdoor designs add breathable water-resistant inner layers beneath UV-stable fabric. Narrow lumbar shapes and broader square formats offer different proportions without changing the family’s simple filled-cushion construction.
Francesco Rota is a Milan-based product and interior designer. He graduated from Art Center College of Design in Switzerland in 1994 and opened his studio in 1998. His work spans furniture, lighting and interior spaces. He became LaPalma's creative director in 2013.
