LaPalma Lyt includes side tables by Klaus Nolting that add lighting or charging functions to a compact round surface.
A plain table sits alongside versions with a dimmable LED beneath the top. One lighting model uses rechargeable batteries; the wired version also provides wireless device charging. Each has a 40 cm tabletop on an offset metal column, placing the surface close to seating or beside a bed.
Klaus Nolting studied industrial design in Kiel and began practicing in 1992. His experience includes work with the architectural firm von Gerkan, Marg and Partners. Through ON3D in Hamburg, established with Sarah Buchholz, he develops products and interiors alongside teaching in design.
