LaPalma Glove includes upholstered counter and bar stools by Francesco Rota with high backs and enclosing sides.
Padded polyurethane shells rest on steel sled frames, plywood legs or adjustable swivel pedestals. Fixed versions use 65 cm or 75 cm seat heights, while the pedestal stool adjusts from 58 to 83 cm. Coverings vary by version, with glue-free fabric upholstery and selected wood-leg models also offering leather or imitation leather.
Francesco Rota is a Milan-based product and interior designer. He graduated from Art Center College of Design in Switzerland in 1994 and opened his studio in 1998. His work spans furniture, lighting and interior spaces. He became LaPalma's creative director in 2013.
