LaPalma Cross includes indoor and outdoor stools by Mario Ferrarini with open cantilevered metal frames.
A curved polyurethane seat with a rigid insert projects over the tubular supports, while a front crossbar provides a footrest. Counter and bar versions use 65 cm and 80 cm seat heights. Front anti-tipping glides are part of the base design, and the dedicated outdoor versions adapt the same construction to terraces and outdoor counters.
Mario Ferrarini studied industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano and worked as a consultant for design studios before establishing his own practice in 2007. His studio develops industrial products and furniture with international manufacturers, including LaPalma, Desalto, Living Divani and Poltrona Frau.
