Lago Design Happening by Mauro Lipparini includes modular sofas and armchairs with rounded upholstery and goose-down cushioning.
Tailored tucks and stitching divide the sofa surfaces, while linear, trapezoidal and chaise elements create different layouts. Three armchair models offer separate outlines with or without arms and padded bases that reach the floor. The varied module shapes let the same upholstery treatment continue from a single lounge seat into a larger composition.
Mauro Lipparini is an architect and designer who graduated in Florence in 1980. His practice, Studio Lipparini, works with clients across Europe and Asia. He remains the author of the studio's designs, developing furniture and other projects through close involvement with clients and the process of making.
