Flos My Disc includes Michael Anastassiades’ disc-shaped LED pendants for independent suspension or the My Circuit system.
A thin horizontal aluminum disc intersects a vertical stem, with a PMMA diffuser distributing light across the form. The standalone lamp uses a dedicated electronic ceiling rose supplied separately. The My Circuit version instead connects through a spherical track adapter and includes Casambi control, preserving the geometry while changing the installation and electrical arrangement.
Michael Anastassiades grew up in Cyprus and develops lighting through close attention to the way light interacts with its surroundings. He began producing his own designs before collaborating with Flos. His work for the manufacturer includes IC Lights, Coordinates, Arrangements and other lighting collections.
