Outdoor lighting and floor lamps.
Flos Captain Flint includes floor, wall and bollard lights by Michael Anastassiades, connected by a conical head.
The indoor floor lamp balances its adjustable reflector on a slender stem above marble. Outdoor floor versions use natural-stone bases, and adjustable bollards bring the form to gardens and paths. Exterior wall fixtures use fixed heads instead. Polycarbonate diffusers, dedicated controls and IP65 protection distinguish the outdoor designs from the indoor reading and ambient-light version.
Michael Anastassiades grew up in Cyprus and develops lighting through close attention to the way light interacts with its surroundings. He began producing his own designs before collaborating with Flos. His work for the manufacturer includes IC Lights, Coordinates, Arrangements and other lighting collections.
