Ditre Italia Papilo is Stefano Spessotto's family of movable-back sofa systems and an upholstered bed.
Indoor seating places weighted triangular back cushions on straight or curved bases, allowing different sitting directions. The outdoor system uses drainage foam over Batyline support with loose backs and removable fabric covers. The bed repeats the cushion theme in an oversized pillow-like headboard, with low or raised frames and optional storage lifts on selected low versions.
Stefano Spessotto trained at the Art School of Udine and worked in advertising before moving into product design. He founded the Dedalo studio in 1991. His practice includes industrial, graphic and interior design, with furniture collaborations and a long association with Ditre Italia's artistic direction.
