Ditre Italia Ada combines a modular sofa system and an upholstered bed designed by Stefano Spessotto.
The sofa uses back supports that can move around the perimeter of the base, changing the direction of seating islands. Low or folded taller cushions and different support thicknesses vary the back treatment. The bed instead has a shallow, curved headboard and tapered exposed feet, with removable frame covers and separately selected headboard and frame sizes.
Stefano Spessotto trained at the Art School of Udine and worked in advertising before moving into product design. He founded the Dedalo studio in 1991. His practice includes industrial, graphic and interior design, with furniture collaborations and a long association with Ditre Italia's artistic direction.

We show Ditre Italia by appointment at both showrooms — Royal Oak on Woodward and Troy at the Michigan Design Center. Call ahead and we'll have samples and finishes pulled and waiting.
