Dining tables.
Cattelan Italia Spyder includes dining tables with X-shaped steel supports beneath glass, ceramic or wood tops.
Clear glass reveals the crossing base, while ceramic versions offer several outlines and an optional rotating serving tray. Spyder Wood uses irregular solid-wood edges around a top with a 4 cm overall profile. Surface dimensions determine the glass thickness and edge treatment, with each construction retaining the same open geometry below the tabletop.
Philip Jackson is credited with the Spyder dining tables and Glenn mirrors for Cattelan Italia. His documented portfolio includes glass, wood and ceramic versions of Spyder and the larger Glenn Magnum mirror.
