Media units and sideboards.
Calligaris Vertical includes higher and low sideboards with repeated fluting across their doors.
Glass or wood treatments give the vertical channels different reflective and tactile surfaces. Raised supports separate the long cabinet bodies from the floor, balancing the upright pattern with a horizontal outline. The low version stands 19 inches high, retaining the same fluted treatment while placing its storage and upper display surface closer to the floor.
Gabriele and Oscar Buratti are architects who work together through Buratti Architetti. Their practice ranges from buildings and residential interiors to retail spaces, furniture and lighting.
