Calligaris Atollo by Orlandini e Radice includes round coffee and side tables plus a two-level console.
Slender metal rods trace open supporting outlines beneath the surfaces. A lower, broader coffee table contrasts with the taller and narrower side table. The console stretches the rounded frame into a shallow format, combining a wood or ceramic upper surface with an always-wooden lower shelf for separate levels of display.
Folco Orlandini and Andrea Radice studied architecture and industrial design respectively at the Politecnico di Milano. They began collaborating in 2008. Their product work follows a design through concept development, refinement and production, with furniture projects for Italian and international manufacturers.
