Arketipo Windsor brings button-tufted upholstery to sofas and the Windsor Dream bed by Manzoni & Tapinassi.
On the sofa, the handworked tufted surround contrasts with smooth seat cushions filled with feathers around polyurethane cores. The bed extends the recessed-button pattern across its padded surfaces above a wooden frame and slatted base. Selected velvet or leather and covered feet connect the designs; only the sofa’s seat covers are removable.
Maurizio Manzoni and Roberto Tapinassi began collaborating in 2001. Their joint work combines architecture, industrial design and interior decoration with experience in visual communication, fashion and graphics. The partnership develops furniture and other projects around patterns of contemporary living and research into new design solutions.
