Sofas and beds.
Arketipo Starman combines a modular sofa with the Starman Dream bed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba.
The sofa uses low backs, curved seat edges and angled or chaise elements to shape different seating arrangements. Layered polyurethane and memory foam form its cushions, with two foot heights available. The bed carries the curved profile into a padded wooden headboard and frame, with several widths and the option to contrast its upholstered surfaces.
Ludovica and Roberto Palomba develop furniture and other design projects through observation of everyday behavior. Their joint practice connects practical functions with cultural references and research into changing ways of living. They have designed products for Vondom, Driade, Foscarini and Talenti.
