Victoria Chair
The Victoria chair by Giuseppe Viganò for Arketipo combines a rounded, stitched leather seat with an angular metal base.
Molded polyurethane padding shapes the upholstered body, bringing a softer surface to the geometric framework. Its leather cover is fixed, while micaceous brown, oxy gray or titanium finishes give the exposed base different tones.

Giuseppe Viganò
Giuseppe Viganò is an Italian designer from the Brianza, the furniture district north of Milan. He began in interior design at furniture showrooms and became their art director, responsible for the layout of the spaces, the choice of products and the displays, an experience that taught him what people actually want from a room. He has worked independently since 1988 and in 2012 founded Studio Viganò in Lissone, which designs furniture and objects and also develops concepts, communication, temporary installations and interiors, following a piece from its first idea to its presentation. He describes good design as a balance of affinity with the person who buys it, function and cost. His houses include Poliform, Arflex, Minotti, Porada, Bonacina, Visionnaire, Bonaldo and Arketipo, and his Ellipses chair for Bonacina was selected for the ADI Index in 2010. On this site his pieces appear across Arketipo and Bonaldo.
