Fabio Novembre
Fabio Novembre is an architect and designer born in Lecce in 1966. He moved to Milan in 1984, graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1992 and studied film direction at New York University before opening his Milan studio in 1994, with a Blumarine shop as his first commission. From 2000 to 2003 he was art director of the mosaic house Bisazza, and from 2001 his work widened into furniture, with pieces such as the Him & Her chairs and the Nemo armchair, shaped like a face, for Driade, Cappellini, Casamania and others. The Triennale Design Museum devoted an exhibition to his work in 2009, and he designed the Italian pavilion's installation at the Shanghai Expo in 2010. Since 2019 he has been artistic director of Driade and scientific director of the Domus Academy, and he teaches, lectures and sits on design juries. On this site his pieces appear across Cappellini, Casamania, Driade, Natuzzi Italia, Slide and Vondom.
