Slide Design Otello includes table and pendant lamps, alongside the related Carmen design, by Giò Colonna Romano.
Lacquered aluminum sections stack into geometric, totem-like bodies. Otello and Mini place exposed decorative bulbs above the forms, while the pendant carries its bulb below the suspended structure. Carmen uses an upward-facing shade. These indoor lights vary in height and orientation, with included bulbs or specified LED options depending on the model.
Giò Colonna Romano is an industrial engineer, designer and entrepreneur who founded SLIDE. His product work draws on knowledge of plastics and rotational molding. The manufacturer's collection includes his illuminated furniture and household objects, developed from familiar forms and attention to how pieces can be used.
