Slide Design Mr.
Giò includes a valet stand and full-height mirror by Giò Colonna Romano. A slender, hat-wearing polyethylene figure gives both pieces their outline. Horizontal bars hold clothing on the stand, while Specchio surrounds a tall reflective surface. Standard and lacquered versions are joined by a separate indoor backlit mirror, bringing the same figure-shaped frame to dressing and entrance settings.
Giò Colonna Romano is an industrial engineer, designer and entrepreneur who founded SLIDE. His product work draws on knowledge of plastics and rotational molding. The manufacturer's collection includes his illuminated furniture and household objects, developed from familiar forms and attention to how pieces can be used.
