Slide Design Ed combines a circular dining table with the rounded Zoe chair, both by Guglielmo Berchicci.
The table pairs a satin-finished tempered-glass top with a conical polyethylene pedestal. Zoe uses a continuous polyethylene seat and enclosing back for indoor and outdoor settings. Standard and lacquered treatments are joined by separate luminous versions, with the illuminated chair using a rechargeable color-changing LED system.
Guglielmo Berchicci began his design career in the mid-1980s. His work includes lighting, objects and jewelry, with research into materials and their transformation. Experiments with recyclable materials for illuminated objects form part of a broader practice connecting formal expression with function.
