Mogg Orbit brings together cable-supported lamps by Marco Cattaneo with movable spherical diffusers.
The floor-to-ceiling version holds its globe on two vertical steel cables, allowing the light to slide up or down. Orbit Wall stretches parallel tracks between walls so the globe moves horizontally across the room. Adjustable brightness changes the intensity, while the position of the sphere shifts the luminous focus along the fine cable structure.
Marco Cattaneo graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 2010. After working with Studio Opera on interiors, retail spaces and products, he founded his own studio in 2016. His practice explores furniture and spatial design at different scales.
