Sideboards and floor lamps.
Mogg Ikebana combines storage furniture and floor lamps by Uto Balmoral with circular display platforms.
Sideboards and taller cabinets pair closed MDF storage with metal frameworks for plants or objects, assembled on either side. The lamp versions carry discs on open uprights, with straight and arched forms changing the position of the light. Across the range, enclosed or illuminated elements sit alongside open surfaces that keep the displayed objects visible.
Uto Balmoral is the professional identity of a designer who treats anonymity as part of the design project. The work includes limited-edition objects and manufactured furniture and lighting. The practice has collaborated with Tonelli Design, Officinanove and Luce 5, as well as artists and galleries.
